Ticketing System on Indian Railways

Start Date :
Jan 01, 2015
Last Date :
Jul 17, 2015
04:15 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Reserved tickets can be booked at Computerised Passenger Reservation System centres operated by Indian Railways and also online through website www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets ...
There is huge black marketing of Tatkal ticket. To prevent this I suggest that for tatkal ticket is not allowed from window because most of agents are tied up with window ticket officer. From internet only one ticket is allowed for tatkal per user & travelling is only allowed if internet user or his relatives (father, mother, wife, son daughter) is tarvelling with that booked ticket. This will reduce black marketing of Tatkal ticket & right person get the ticket.
NRE TICKETING WILL BE USEFUL.
आदरणीय प्रधानमन्त्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी को सादर प्रणाम.
congratulations for starting UTS in Mumbai. its great help for Mumbai travelers. requires some up gradation. after use ticket remains in history. recharge can not be done online. Still it is very useful. Once again thanks for the application
Please enable booking of unreserved (spot) tickets on IRCTC website / mobile app - for any class and any length of journey. This will help passengers to avoid long queues at booking counters and last-minute rush to buy tickets. This will also reduce paper consumption. Also, the TTE should be able to issue tickets inside the train. Payment can be made through credit/debit/prepaid cards.
I would like to knw is IRCTC online ticket is delivered using cash on delivery by POST MAN/WOMEN.If nt then why gvt is nt implementing it
major drawback for paperless ticketing and digital india is extra charges for online banking
CLASSICAL EXAMPLE
bangalore-chennai- sleeper -260rs actual fare
IRCTC charges 22rs
payment charges 11rs (minimum for any mode of payment)
extra charges - 33rs , which is 12% of actual fare (33/260*100)
then why would anyone go for online booking when there is so much of extra fares.
this service fare is not there in govt online bus booking and even no extra charges for payment. Please remove bias
Sir we need to do somthing about Indian railway. the first think the indian railway should give an indenty proof and a code no. for all that people who want to travel by railway. identyproof like PAN card and when we go to take a ticket the code no. is must.
Sir, as the mobile penetration is strong now already paper less ticket has come to enhance further ticket verification also can be done through mobile app by ticket collectors. To provide the seat allocation for the waiting list & RAC passengers seat allocation can be automated by this right passengers will get the seat allocation by the priority bribe will be removed totally. Automation of seat allocation through mobile.
