Ticketing System on Indian Railways

Start Date :
Jan 01, 2015
Last Date :
Jul 17, 2015
04:15 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Reserved tickets can be booked at Computerised Passenger Reservation System centres operated by Indian Railways and also online through website www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets ...
There should be GPS available in each train so that people can access current train position via their mobile app or via irctc website.
Note: This facility only be available by entering their PNR number and only after train departure from very first station.
Stations are not at all clean and there must be a set of standards that are to be maintained in each stations.i hope railway was loosing its income in platform tickets ,which was all most forgotten by the citizens who come to station and the authority seems to be careless and if we gain income properly from this there may be further development .Another thing is speed of trains which was a drawback where people are preferring flights if it is developed it may attract even the foreigners.
My suggestion to start Passenger Trains E-ticket system and improve Smart card Ticket system technology.
To do major reform railway need funds..
But railway daily cater more than 10 lakh passanger and do not use the power of it
Railway should create website where anyone can advertise in railway property
But advertise ment placement can include
Railway coach
Tickets
Plateform
Floor graphics
Lcd screens in railway
There are no proper checking inspectors at stations. I have seen many people without tickets in train Enact strict laws including jail terms. I think railways can gain double the profit if everyone gets tickets. Please do something to correct it
The rural people need to know the train status as they come from far places to pick the train. so an app showing status and expected timing would realy help them.
IRCTC app do not work.
we should develop an app, wherein it would give us space to check trains current status and lodging grievances.
Loose fooding items must be stoped in railway station.only packed by raputed company should be allowed and rate chart system of food must be indorsed on shop.good & hygenic food is the basic need of passanger in modern age.a costomer care no On all india basis to lodge the complain & suggesition.
i want to suggest that here we can open several counters at outside of important stations like new delhi where passenger can itself book ticket from IRCTC website.so this will reduce load at ticket counters
Direct interaction to Railway official through internet and manual regarding complaint against broker, RPF and railway staff. There is no e mail id in entire railway system where an individual can lodge a complaint. There should be proper response system to every complaint. All quota system regarding VIP reservation is abolished except for armed forces. If ticket reservation is increasing in certain limit than extra coaches added in that train to facilitate passengers.
