Ticketing System on Indian Railways

Start Date :
Jan 01, 2015
Last Date :
Jul 17, 2015
04:15 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Reserved tickets can be booked at Computerised Passenger Reservation System centres operated by Indian Railways and also online through website www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets ...
To, improve ticketing system the no of general coaches be increased. 2. All TCs be allowed to issue tickets inside the running train. 3. No female employees be deployed at ticket windows for issuing tickets. 4. Provide better internet connectivity to all stations. 5. Ticketing machines may be installed at the stations where long queues of people are observed.
I was travelling by train number 12369 on 26 March 2015. The coach S5 was in a bad shape. Quite a few glass shutters got loose and banged shut while the train sped along. It could have hurt anyone very badly.
Kindly get the maintenance team to check such things out.
भारतीय रेल की लम्बी दूरी की ट्रेनों मे 100 300 कि.मी. की यात्रा करने वाले यात्रीओ के लिये आरक्षित सीटींग कोच बढ़ाना चाहियेा
Moreover its dangerous also.So my request is that chair car bogies can be connected for only wait listed passengers in which only wait listed passenger s should be allowed .By this confirm ticket passengers will also be happy because crowd will be controlled and wait listed passengers will also have at least seat for sitting.
I request hnble railway minister sir please do something to control crowds in train .if a person is getting ticket in waiting list and not confirmed till date of journey how he is travelling ? He has to sit on the floor or near the doors although he has paid the full money for ticket .railway is benefitted but what for an individual. In this condition those who are wait listed suffer and those who have confirmed seat too.It is totaaly injustice with wait listed passengers.
IRCTC website is really crap. For comparison look at websites of Swiss Rail or German Railways. The website never crashes and handle millions of transactions per second.
Touch Screen based ticket vending machines should be installed at all major Stations. I have seen queues in Mumbai and wonder how much time is wasted just to queue up for tickets.
Allow private players to run Railways as in case of Italo in Italy.
Rs 350 is a fine if person travels in reserved compartment with general unreserved ticket . If person pay money of Rs 100 to TTC , then he is allowed to travel in reserved compartment with general ticket. Kindly look into.
Like Delhi Metro, Indian railways can install self ticket vending machine using cash/cards at railways station for fast and quick ticketing.
