Why IRCTC do not provides seat layout at online booking system so that a family gets seats in same compartment and near to each other. It can follow airplane booking mechanism which is quite good.

Platform ticket increased by 5 Rs to 10 Rs is not good it create more irregularity by person who come for sea off, if railway increase one Rs on each ticket for clean India fund is more better than this type of increase in platform ticket and try to keep rail and platform neat and clean.

There must be a secret code in each reserved ticket, the ticket checker must collect that code at the time of checking ticket and submit the that code to the station master of the next station. That station master will do entry of that code in online system. If any passenger does not travel on his reserved seat, the ticket checker will not have that secret code and entry will not be possible in online system. The system will send the confirmation message to the next eligible person.

advantage of entry system similar to delhi metro would be-1.Noone can enter without ticket even general boggy.2.crowed will be less at platform therefore there will be less garbage at station.3.Security will be more for the passenger.

this is a biggest problem that a person having a RAC/waiting ticket do not get the confirm seat whereas non deserving person get that due to corruption. this can be stopped in the following ways . 1.there should be an electronic display system in each boggy where detail of the each passenger must be displayed.entry of each passenger will be ensured at the entrance get of the railway platform by scanning their ticket/adhar card/bar code & entry system should be very much like delhi metro.

there must be few seat left for instant reservation which is done one hr before the departure of the train.this can be done by adding a separate boggy in each train .
