Department of Telecommunications (DoT) through their letter dated 27th February 2019 has informed that Indian Railways has proposed to install an Ultra-high-speed LTE based communication corridor along their network for Train-Ground and Train-Train communication. In this connection Indian Railways has requested DoT to reserve 15 MHz of spectrum in 700 MHz band for the purpose and to begin with 10 MHz to be allocated free of cost as the proposal is devoid of any commercial gain, but only for enhancing security and passenger amenities. Through the said letter, DoT has also requested TRAI to provide recommendations on administrative allotment of spectrum to Indian Railways and the quantum, price, appropriate frequency band (including 450-470 MHz band) and any other related issue.

A Consultation Paper on “Allotment of Spectrum to Indian Railways for Public Safety and Security Services” has been released to discuss the issues involved. Written comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper are invited from the stakeholders by 22nd July 2019 and counter-comments by 5th August 2019.

रेलवे मे सबसे पहले तो सुरक्षा के प्रति जवाबदही तय हो। जिसमे स्टेशन सुरक्षा,रेल सुरक्षा,Track सुरक्षा और नागरिक सुरक्षा को प्राथमिकता से शामिल हो।
मेरी नजर मे सुरक्षा कमियाँ:-
1. भिक्षावृति पर लगाम
2. घूमते फिरते सेलर
3. टिकट की चेकिंग मे अनियमितता
4. हर Coach मे गार्ड विशेषकर Genernal Coach मे।
5 CCTV Montiring मे कमी

i am travelling in Railwy one time in my life Surat to Baroda I have no ideas

1. cctv camera in all train biggies
2. stop people going in SL class with general tickets
3. clean the train regularly ( even AC )
4. give TTI digital tab to stop corruption
5. atleast 10 RPSF/RPF in all mail / express/superfast train & minimum 2 in all local train
6. pantry food is very Pathetic in maximum train ( check Howrah - duranta express SL class food )

IT IS BEST SOLUTION FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT
MUST BE USE HIGHLY FREQUENCY NETWORKS
AND MUST BE AIRPORTS SECURITY IN ALL OVER RAILWAY STATIONS.

The trains are dirty as ever. AC3 tier looks like a general body. Unless penalty is levied and person designsted to fine on the spot, no amount of imprving the railways will be a success.
The toilets are dirty as ever even in AC coaches, with NO WATER half the journey.
Allowing a spectrum to Indian Railways is certainly a good step.
But first the basic necessities should be dealt with.
In the long journey trains like Yashwantpur express and Gorakhpur express the quality of food is bad.

आवश्यक है कि जितना हो सके रेलवे ट्रैकों की एक बाउंड्री बनाए, और उनमें ऐसा सेंसर हो जिससे अगर कोई व्यक्ति या जानवर पार करे तो पता चल जाए, और दुर्घटना को रोकने की कोशिश की जय। अभी 19/06/2019 को वंदे भारत से यात्रा कर रही थी, एक गाय पटरी के पास खड़ी थी केवल स्पर्श होने से वह गाय बुरी तरह घायल हो गयी कुछ देर यात्रा रुकी रही फिर आगे बढ़ गई ट्रेन लेकिन मन अभी भी वहीं रुका हुआ है अगर किसी तार की बाउंड्री या कुछ ऐसी व्यवस्था रोटी होती तो ऐसा ना होता और भी ऐसे बहोता।

It is to be understand that it will be really be maintained, effectively and consistently across the country. The focus to be on quick responses in cases of need. As most of urban and semi urban people uses internet. But what about caring of rural, remote habitant and non internet users which are actually not that much educated or not the no savvy. I would insist railways to consider cost effective time bound quality improvement and use of right manpower for top priorities of general public.
