Start Date :

The growth of Internet penetration in India and realisation of its full potential is closely tied to the proliferation of broadband services. WLANs created using Wi-Fi technology ...
As a user stake holder, the perceived qualitative requirements of a Countrywide Unified Wi-Fi Broadband Network is attached as a pdf file. The broadband network should be futuristic and should promote both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct standards at the user level and can piggy back on existing OFC, ADSL+,4G LTE and LTE Direct technology capable mobile networks, with some scope for satellite bandwidth use, at the backend.
Hello,
I have a funny complaint. In a town like Bhosari (in Pimpri-Chinchwad Corporation near Pune), we had to return BSNL connection that we held for more than 15 years for a simple reason, no more connectivity. They are not able to replace the cut cable for three years.
In many parts of city of Pune & Pimpri-Chinchwad people are returning existing connection due to connectivity issue. I have even heard stories that Private Telecom operators bribe local BSNL folks to neglect & avoid customer.
Any Internet Service Provider is not giving the promised mobile internet data.If promised data is 1 GB, we get 500-600MB only, if promised data is 2GB, we get 1.1 GB...several times verified this day-light robbery on BSNL,aircel, vodafone. TRAI should develop a web tool & host it on Mygov website to accurately measure uploaded/downloaded data on our ISP.This can be done only if TRAI makes an unbiased web tool & make all these ISP's agree to make this possible.Ppl will also visit Mygov daily.
I have been using Airtel broadband 16mbps. When it is designated as 16mbps, they refer to this speed with reference to the download speed. But then their broadband internet is extremely slow. The catch is the upload speed. Their upload speed never goes above 0.6 or 0.7 mbps against 16mbps download speed. The shared broadband policy must specify a minimum ratio to be maintained between upload and download speed, not more than 4:1 or 5:1. Leased broadband specifies 1:1 ratio.
I am using BSNL broadband in my office as well as at home. This broadband is not at all reliable. Very frequent disconnection though I am living in the middle of Cochin Town, - the metro city of Kerala. At the same day of the billing I am getting the message that my bandwidth usage is over before I start to use it, the 8GB connection!! At my home every other second it is disconnecting. So forced to change the connection to other private net providers
Sir,
India is progressing but in terms of internet declining day be day. In terms of reliable, consistency, Bandwidth, Availibility and cost. Indian internet is not reliable it can stop working any time it happens everyday. Bandwidth we are cannot compete with any progressive countries. Broadband is not available everywhere. I live in Metro city like PUNE and and many parts of city broadband is not available. Cost is very important part, interms of value cost is very high in India.
Hi Sir,
Please consider raising the benchmark speed for broadband in India.
BE with BSNL.
Please don't be carried away by advertisenents.
I myself was an airtel mobile customer and opted to switch over to BSNL with the same number which I had been using for many years.
I stayed with Airtel all these years due to unprofessional service and un economic packages of BSNL even when I was knowing that Airtel was lootting me on my mobile and data usages with exorbitant charges.
But recently with the intervention of Prime Ministers Office, the telecommunication ministry
