Train inquiry should also show the density of passenger traffic on a route. The system will analyze route load by quantum of issued tickets and monthly and quarterly passes on week days. This will help passengers plan their comfortable journey dates. The enquiry system-app may also show pattern of waiting clearance on particular dates or in festival season. Inquiry system should be able to show onward train connections if desired. In inquiry system different type of freight charges penalties.

IRCTC started to book online handicapped concession tickets through IRCTC website and says that keep "handicapped photo id" issued by railways with you. But till date no any Railway Zone has stared to issue such type of "handicapped photo id". This is my request to Railway Department that kindly start the process to issue such type of "handicapped photo id" as soon as possible in all Railway Zones.

तो यहाँ हमारे रेलवे सिस्टम के लिए काफी दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बात है अतः इसमें काफी सुधर की आवश्यकता है.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री महोदय जी आज के समय में जितना ही टेक हमारा रेलवे सिस्टम होना चाइये वह नहीं है आज भी ज्यादातर जंक्शन ऐसे है जो की मंडल के बड़े स्टेशन है एवं इन जंक्शन्स पर आज भी कोच ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम बहुत बेकार है यदि कोई कोच १५ नंबर पर लगना है किन्तु वह उस जगह न लग कर हमेशा किसी दूसरे नंबर पर जा लगता है यह हालत मेने मध्यप्रदेश के ४-५ स्टेशन पर देखि है जिसकी वजह से पिछले दिनों एक हादसे में रेल कर्मी की मौत हो गयी यदि इस सिस्टम की वजह से ऐसा हुआ तो

I used to travel from Talegaon to Pune daily to attend my college. As a FY project I developed a 'Local Train Alert System' which provided daily commuters SMS alerts about their respective Local. I approached Railway officials at Pune about my idea and they acknowledged the need for it but said that they can't help me. I've already submitted my suggestion to the IR. I hope that IR develops similar system for daily local train commuters. Will be happy to share project details with IR if required.

This is off the topic, but I would like to share my views on the cleanliness ad orderly manner for our railways. Just like we have the ticket system in Delhi metros, It should be introduced in the railway systems also. This would ensure order and discipline. Also, it would reduce the number of persons travelling without tickets. I am sure this would cause a benefit to the finance systems also. Plus, the stations should be provided with proper and clean waiting regions. Thank you.

In the enquiry system, there should be a facility about knowing the platform number on which the desired train is arriving.

sabhi trains me waiting hai fir bhi tc ko kuch khrcha do tho seet arange ho jati hai ajmer kanpur ki yatra 28 feb ki mera ticket waiting me thha or tc ne kuch rs lekar conferm kar di yeh kaise hota hai jabki rac wale bhi pareshan thhe

suggestions for passenger friendly travel --(a) ask for mobile numbers on reservation (b) after reservation every information about arrival/departure at each station, arrival platform, cancellation/delays be intimated by mass SMS (c) age wise allotment of lower, middle, side berths (d) eliminate touts from tatkaal reservation (e) pleasing instrumental music of hindi songs of 50/60s in coaches (f) paid helps for 60+ passengers (g) paid lifts in all stations for all but free for 60+/disabled

Today in Local trains so may people travels without Ticket, some don't buy ticket intentionaly and for some people its difficult to get ticket by standing in long queue. For this we should make local tickets available online. There are so many gazetted officers travel in local trains on daily basis. For TT it is difficult to check local trains, we can authorize Gazzeted officers to check the tickets of passangers at any time in train and issue on the spot challan for punishment.
