No need for bullet trains now. First increase no. of trains, seats, frequency for passengers. The condition of passengers in Indian Rails esp in General Coaches & Sleeper is shameful.
Railway should be connected by camera or devices that can scan a train in particular area or find how much and why late and action should be taken against all staff related with that train like ASM,SS,Porter and Driver.
Railway must start their own TV Chanel and can broadcast news about train delays they can inform about new trains ,special trains, diverted trains and any accidents or blockage due to maintenance.By launching Rail Chanel they can increase their earning by promoting various tourism program . regular feed of the trains at the bottom of the screen as per zones. showing of the tickets available in particular trains .
Unreserved ticket can be booked by internet & it can be forwarded on mobile. It should has a condition that it can not be cancelled. It may have validity also.
This will save a lots of paper, Computer operator of railways, queues outside UTS windows etc.
We went to Gaya for a project work. could not get even a tatkal tkt on return. I spent huge sum for return journey by AIR. RLY should create a SUPER TATKAL category for selling tkt by auction to earn extra income even if it needs to add an extra boggie. IMAGINE HOW TO RETURN HOME IF THERE IS NO AIR LINK.
please give option for departure or boarding to customers because they book ticket from other station but they want boarding from other station so please provide option in our irctc site
LED display in every Coach which show the next upcoming station and announcement of upcoming station 5 minutes before train boarded to station ( just like we have in Delhi metro) so that passengers get ready accordingly. Also Helpline Number in each Rail ( which passenger can dial through there mobile and passenger need to mention the Train No., coach and seat No.) .The call get transfer to the RPF to help. Also require vaccum toilets both in Rail and Railway stations similar which Airline uses
TC taken bribe for providing vacant seats to the passengers having general tickets in place of them having waiting tickets. however it is banned in india to travel on window waiting ticket but person are used to for travelling with waiting ticket. To solve corruption, vacant seats information should be available on website and one should reserve there seats even after train departed from first station. TC automatic get info. on internet enable devices for reservation. i have detail scheme 4 this
1. TTE should has electronic EFT Books. Manual paper books should be abolished. It is being misused & a lot of duplicate books may be used.
2. Electronics signal system may be used to avoid delay of train due to fog. Delay/cancellation of train reduces income of railways & passengers also get troubles.
