Last Date :

04:15 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Train running status information is made available to passengers through website enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/ntes/, mobile applications, SMS and IVRS at 139.Suggest solutions for ...
calling on 139 is a very long process for any inquiry. Please make it easy so it will be convenient to all
Net mobile apps is best to be explored including timings, late arrivals, camcellations, additions of trains or boggies, automated display of trains passing that particular station like on air ports along with net & mobiles with certain lag effect, Bottlenecks, road blockes etc to be part of continous ticker movement in same display, Additional coaches or train to be announced & displayed in advance to plan vacations sometinhg like 3-4 months in advance.
Indian railways and Japanese Railways - a comparison
the train enquiry system, installed in new delhi railway station and in other stations are not working and both the staff and answering machines are either not responding or not giving timely positions.
To honourablr rail minister
For double line between kanpur to mathura via kashganj farrukhabad by this u can down traffic rush between kanpur -tundla and one line link to aligarh jn and hathras.
The railways should provide mobile phones to on duty DRIVER, GUARD, of each train, and to TTE of each running passenger train. with this the rail communication system can be updated in real time about the running position of each train. The real time reservation chart position can be updated by the information the TTE has to provide to the reservation system, and in turn passengers waiting for vacant berths and seats on platforms for that particular train on its next stop will be benefited.
TO HONURABLE PRIME MINISTER,PLEASE KEEP THE RAILWAY HELP NUMBER AS TOLL-FREE& MAKE THE HELP NUMBER(139) as LIKE as (108) EVEN THE UNEDUCATED INDIAN CAN ALSO USE THE NUMBER FOR KNOWN THE DETAILS OF THE INDIAN RAILWAYS :By introducing the call center SYSTEM,THANK YOU SIR,

NTES should also implement the mechanism to check for train PF for all stations. Currently it provides info on some select stations only and that too is not updated in real time. It should provide for real-time train coach information because passengers have to run a sprint carrying their luggage since train stop time is usually 2 mins and no one knows where the coach will be except on major stations.
NTES app launched by Indian Railways is highly pathetic. It is most of the time awaiting for updates. Also the update frequency is very slow too. A mechanism is required where user can better track the train location in real time.
