I believe we should encourage people to take participate in keeping the train clean. Like if someone knows how to fix a fan or tubelight in moving train then he can assist the railway technician in doing so and in rewards he can get benefit in ticket or something like that.
Apart from that, wifi should be manadatory in moving trains. There should be an LED panel in each coach showing the next station like in local trains and running status of train like whether it is on schedule or running late instead of checking on internet again and again.
I appreciate UPA Government efforts to made the Railways clean digital like SMS facility, BIo Toilets and also NDA government to run train at 160 Kmph. When i was in chennai, It took me 36 hrs to reach my hometown Jaipur. I feel like in todays world people are ready to pay more bt they need facilities. Ideally no train in INDIA should take more than 24 hrs from source to last destination. Eagerly waiting for High Speed Rails. and hopefully good quality food and cleanliness in train.
In Today's world, the distances have become time dependent rather that the actual distances. Instead of overcrowding the existing cities we should understand the need of developing New World Class cities & connecting them with the best means of communication & providing World Class facilities there, like Greater Noida now being connected with Metro & Expressways. This way we can develop new areas within a radius of 200-250 km of existing cities without over crowding the existing places.
In addition to that, we have to plan for an infotainment system in each compartment which should give details about the current location of the train, what will be the next station and its expected arrival time, likewise for upcoming stations. Info in a LED/LCD monitor will be enough without any voice messages. This will be very useful for all passengers and will take our indian railway to new heights in people heart.
In India train runs very slow. It takes more than 3 hours for 200 KM. Almost all trains run late. People faces problems. This problem comes due to railway employee who are not doing their duty properly. I urge Railway Minister to look in to and do something to improve speed and timing. If train runs late the employees related to that late shall be penalised. Tracks should also be improved. Every village shall be connected with the rail network so that dependence on private vehicle shall minimize
Over 50 lakh pilgrims from all over India travel to Salasar and khatu shyamji from all over india via Jaipur,so please develop a route connecting Jaipur-Khatu Shyam-Salasar-Sujangarh-Ladnun. Jain Vishva Bharti University is located in ladnun where people from all over the world arrive but suffer huge problems, if there is a railway connectivity then it will help people and increase tourism in India
Does we get reply of our posts? If yes, how?
Issue is not why Delhi Bus Rape criminals are still ALIVE even after 2Yrs, Issue is also not why our Govt failed to create, even after 2Yrs, an effective DETERRENT mechanism like CANNING as implemented by LKY in Singapore, Issue is also not why there are so many LOOPHOLES left open for CAB OPERATORS like UBER, Issue is also not that nothing changed ever since Delhi Bus Rape; THEN WHAT’s the ISSUE?? Using GPS, Indian trains can be tracked real time during their journey from source to the destination station. The coordinates tracked by the GPS device can be uploaded to the server and based on that the railway portal can be updated with the real time location of a train. This can not only help the passengers to get a clear understanding of the train schedule but also will reduce number of inquiries at the railway counter.
The updates in NTES in case of some stations like Kanpur, Howrah are very slow.
The website of NTES provide more information than the mobile app. Hence there are scopes of improvement in mobile app.
Topics Topics related to punctuality of trains should be started for discussion on MyGov because its the biggest challenge for railway. How will bullet trains be managed if current trains are not handled properly.
