Nehru ji once said if you educate a male u educate an individual and if u educate a female thn u r educating a family and i completely agree with the adage because being a female i can say it is in the hands of a mother how she nurture the ideology of her child.so from the childhood only females should teach their children to respect girls not because they are weak(physically) but bcz they deserve it.Education also plays a great part,it should b usd as weapon against eradication of this evil.

Violence against Women arises when people undermine the strength and position of women in the society or in some given environment. In order to stop the cruel violence the system needs to set great examples of Hanging Punishments for cases of rapes ; No Tolerance against domestic Violence against women. People who are around the crime scenes especially where there is violence against women should realize their at-most responsibility to take action to stop any such activity.

I think violence happens as a resultant of punishment of any crime considered by male dominated society mind set. It originates of thinking one sex above the other. It could be reduced if quotations from Indian culture could be reflected in all spheres of society, from Panchayats to Committees. If religion is used to safeguard females, it could happen in grass root level.

Violence against women will not arise instantly but the roots are deep and are nurtured by the content we see in the T.V and movies. By filling the all the perversion in mind they try it on weak targets.

All the youths should be pledged to protect women and women should be given training. If any one try to misbehave with a women, they would be able to protect herself and the youth would realize his mistake. Programs related to protection of women can be held time to time to encourage women for her protection and youth not to do bad deed in his life towards women. There should be no distinction or comparison in fields like job, education etc. between women and men.
