TO, THE HON. PRIME MINISTER - ALL LICENSES SHOULD BE LIBERAL IN INDIA AND MAHARASHTRA. LOOK AT PRIVATE SECURITY AND FACTORY LICENSE - NO ONE WILL GET LICENSE UNLESS HE MANAGES AUTHORITY THRU AUTHORITY WAY. HOW LONG IT WILL RUN SIR, YOU HAVE PROMISED THAT ALL BUSINESS LICENSES, SMALL, BIG WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHOUT PROBLEMS, SIR, WE ARE FACING SERIOUS PROBLEMS IN MAHARASHTRA. LAST YEAR IN 2013 AND 2014 THOUSANDS OF FACTORY OWNERS PAID FINE IN JMFC COURT, DUE TO THE REASON THAT THEY HAVE NO LICENS
Companies like VFS that are outsourced service providers of consular services should be taught some basic courtesy skills. Have them trained in other country embassies. See how other countries treat their citizens in their embassies. Indian High commissions treat Indian citizens in foreign countries like stray animals. You can see their digust just on their faces when anyone goes into the embassy for any service
I posted messages on the FB page of the Indian High Commission. Canberra, to let them know that their staff should be taught basic telephone etiquette. When I ring the High Commission, I hear a tired and bored voice saying simply 'hello...' and waiting for me to respond. Why can't she/he say something like 'namaskar...High Commission of India, how may I help you...' and then show some patience in listening to my query and providing a courteous reply. Instead she shows an evident annoyance...
PLease ask to change the attitude of consulate people that they are privileged people. They need to contact directly to Indians and foreigners to get their experience. To do that right training and awareness needs to be created before they are posted in foreign office.
Request:
1. Bring professional look at embassy. a. Equip with modern facilities( photo copy machine, colored photo machine, right kind of forms at right places and proper sitting arrangement with writing desk and cleaned toilets. Important: proper ventilation of all room is missing many times. This will give 1st impression about the country,
2. To improve tourism: The on line info about different places for adventure and tourism must be displayed on reception which will create awareness.
Hong Kong Indian embassy goes on complete lunch from 1pm to 2pm, suggest to keep it open during this time through alternate and partial team arrangement to facilitate the working peoples need.
Yoga is most popular and necessary thing for our life so Govt of India must be started programs on Yoga by starting some programs in Schools,Colleges and All Govt offices in India so All people do Yoga and Kro Yog Rho Nirog. Jbhi to bnega India Great.
Indian embassies in US never answer phone or reply to e-mails (that was the situation last year). They need to respond and provide information. Indian Passport renewal takes 3- 4 months for renewal. Passport renewal, visa etc. should not take more than a month. Indian embassies need to update information regarding visas, PIO card, OCI card on their website regularly. Indian embassies should also consider publishing monthly e-newsletter updating NRIs on current foreign affairs related information
Clean all Consulates & Embassies - rid of clutter & files in hallways.

Missions should have quarterly open-houses & events
