In the absence of Online Voting System atleast local Embassy should have facilities for Voting.

Dear Prime Minister,

Why we cannot have online Voting System for NRIs? Whether General Election or State Assembly Election there should be a provision to Vote as this is our Constitutional Right.

Dear Prime Minister,

Currently i am working in Qatar.

I would like to share some thought process about our Embassy Function across the world when compare to other country's Embassy. Let us ask few questions ourselves:

1) Are our Embassy responsive to Indian Citizen queries like UK, USA or Philiphine embassy?
2) Are our Embassy strong in protesting or protecting our nationalities in foreign countries like other country Embassy.

I sincerely wish the previous PIO application form and Current application for oci, after merging should have been simplified, while our respected Prime Minister has done good job to merge,to get PIO was easier, but for OCI not that easy, so fail to understand how successful is merger.Previous eligibity for PIO, shoudl be accepted for OCI as well. There were no questions for domicile/nativity for PIO earlier, same should hold good for OCI.

A few years ago I applied for OCI by post with correct documents and fees etc. as instructed but was rejected and told to do in person thus wasting my time and money and no reasons were given, complain not responded to. What a shame. We are not rich here in London. We all don't have numerous opportunity for cash-in-hand (black money) jobs like in India and money pouring out of our ears!

Indian staff have very poor attitude towards their own people even abroad. The attitude should be gentlemanly and willingness to help with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency. All post seems to reflect that.

In London the premises are too small everybody gets dumped in one room with no guidance. One has to queue outside in bad weather for hours for a token. Later, get misguided and told to queue elsewhere and have to start again. They never tell us that no change is given for any fees and after waiting in queue taking leave from work it is mean to have to start again. One friend who went for OCI few years ago was insulted and reduced to tears by officer in charge who was eating samosas at work.
