I have visited the UK embassy,it was organised, it gave me the reflection of the current government, our government is working day and night, country will reach the acme one day but the foundation of bridge starts from the first brick so all the things r going slow and steady.
grate government
IOC Card holders must know they have to carry the two page national garbage with them even though the visa stamped in your passport state you have lifelong visa. Why can't Modi GOV stop wasting money printing this stupid looking passport that is environmentally friendly.
IOC officer in the Embassy in Munich told me she did not receive my passport. When I told her the passport was sent to them by registered post, three months ago, she told me they have not received my passport. Even after I posted the post office receipt showing the passport was sent to the embassy, she denied receiving my passport. After I told the embassy that I will lodge a police complaint as suggested by the British Consulate, some how my passport appeared miraculously in hours.
Embassy in Kuwait was like a railway platform, with sweat smell & crowds & lazy replies. In most embassies, there is no 24/7 emergency contact phone number to contact them in case of any emergency. And even if they have one, nobody picks it up and in most cases, the number gets changed or it will connect to a fax machine. No embassy has any clue at any time of how many Indian citizens have entered that country. In Serbia, our embassy was surprised when I told them that I lived there for 3 months.
Some Specific Suggestions for Germany ( May be applied to other countries as well )
1. Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich and Hamburg Embassy is not enough . Need more Embassies in big cities like Stuttgart, Cologne, Duesseldorf, Hannover , Dresden Etc. Germany is commercially very important and no . of students and professionals are increasing day by day.
2. Along with Embassies, activities like Indian Food festival, Holi, Diwali, Id, Ganesh, Navratri Christmas can be celebrated in places.
2.
We have sent a chain of documents related to Indian Centre for Raising Energy Efficiency [ICREE] for coordinating with Indian Youths to earn bottom-up developments for self and other by developing affordable and Greener Micro-Generators for Power, Heating and Cooling using maximum of Renewable Energy. No response is sent by any from office of IPM.
In 2009, i was applied visa to go United Kingdom for attending sponsored workshop both side (Indian govt. and British govt. sponsored)i was doing PhD in Microbiology in state govt. institute. When i was entered in to the immigration check in Chennai, the officer asked me to wait and asked me to see higher officer. I don't know why, i had all supporting documents like UG,PG,PhD degree and all original certificates. I showed them finally he asked me did you finish degree? see how the officers.
One Sunday 2 years ago, we were in Canberra AUstralia. We visited our embassy. The outside gate was locked. I wonder what will happpen to an Indian citizen abroad if he needs help on a holiday.
My friend Craig Houston from UK was here on a business visa for a year. Before the end of his visa term he wrote to MHA asking for appointment to apply extension before the expiry of his business visa in May, 2014.
MHA did not respond, not even acknowledgement.
Eventually he gave up and returned to England.
All this under new Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh and Prime Minister Modi.
What more do I need to say. What has changed-NOTHING!
