Even though recent attack & killing of Doctors in WB & our lady police personnel in Kerala, seems consequential loss of a pre-existing problems, it seems no different from religious intolerance & it's related atrocities that r being metted out 2 common man. With an appeal 2 nation not 2 heed to any such communal disharmony spreading voices &agencies, it is necessary that PM assure us of government plans 2 protect innocents & punish the erring with a heavy handed law.

If private water tankers can exploit ground water and sell it through tankers, why can't the government agencies take over such tubewells/water resources and provide water. If needed, water bill for rich can be increased to subsidise water for poor and needy.

Kindly take any action or have have look around on TRAI new decision on NCF fees that are uselessly charged on normal customer. As due to NCF fees our normal bill which were 200 are now being high to 400. And we can't understand why we have to pay NCF fees for those free to channels. Literally this new rule is a burden for all television consumers and a great backlash of our DIGITAL INDIA VISION. There I urge you to have a seious look.

Going forward. Technological aspects of rural development programmes should help the farmer to take the next step in his development and not demand that he take a huge technological leap. It is better to secure a modest advance which can be sustained than to suggest a substantial advance which is beyond the ability of most.
Participation. Always try to consult the local people, seek out their ideas and involve them as much as possible in the programme.

Access. Try to ensure that the programme and its benefits can reach those in need, and beware of the consequences if some farmers have access to the programme while others do not.
Independence. Devise a programme which helps and supports the farmer but which does not make him or his livelihood dependent upon the programme.
Sustainability. Ensure that the programme's plans and solutions are relevant to the local economic, social and administrative situation.

I think given the water crisis we are starting at, focus in coming year should be water harvesting and conservation. Every household, small or big and every commercial establishment should compulsorily have water harvesting. Government can provide subsidy, on pattern of housing and toilet subsidy, to small households for the purpose. Further, there should be a check on ROs. Either they should be replaced with water efficient machine or the RO seller should compulsorily provide storage tank.
