MyGov Talk with Prof. Ashutosh Sharma on Science and Technology for Harnessing Innovations (SATHI)

The Ministry of Science and Technology, headed by Dr. Harsh Vardhan is implementing a communications campaign against the backdrop of new initiatives being launched by them under the Startup India Action Plan called “Science and Technology for Harnessing Innovations” The program aims to accelerate ideas to commercialized products or services. In view of the present focus in the country to translate the research taking place in its academic and research institutions into socially useful products and processes and give a boost to entrepreneurship as well as to encourage innovators into establishing start-ups, the Government has launched several initiatives such as Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU), Start-up India, Stand-up India etc. Towards these initiatives, the Departments of Science and Technology, Biotechnology and Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology are having a variety of schemes and programmes that nurture and foster innovation and promote and support incubators and start-ups.

The Ministry is channelizing its resources to help connect various stages of a sustainable development cycle of a startup. More than 3000 innovators, SMEs and startups have been promoted.

In this regards, the Ministry would like to highlight successful and promising initiatives taken up by each the three departments under the ministry i.e. Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).

The ministry is organising three MyGov Talks featuring the secretaries of the three departments respectively. The second Talk is scheduled with Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary - Department of Science and Technology on 19th August 2016 at 11AM. Citizens are invited to post their questions and ideas for the Talk

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is gearing itself to a bigger role and responsibility to align itself with key Nation Building initiatives. In line with the Startup India Action Plan, DST has recently carved out an ambitious initiative “National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations” (NIDHI) to connect various links of idea to prototype to incubation to market value chain leading to a sustainable startup ecosystem.It has also partnered with MHRD to set up StartupCenters, Incubators and Research Parks in several National Institutions of importance.The DST also plans to help scale up Innovative Start ups and Companies through funding via bodies such as the Technology Development Board.

Why Pakistan is carrying out ceasefire violations everytime. How the terrorists are coming from Pakistan side when their military is tight and they fire every now and then. Or they should accept that their army are less in executing as usual than the infiltrators. Where were the political parties who are now approaching to President to discuss the Kashmir tension when Hindus again are being exploited. Take the population growth census while visiting the President and the population of the Hindus

Recently, there has been various cases unmasked where antisocials are present inside the Country crying anti national slogans. People are disrespecting the National Anthem, Indian Flag. They are bringing in religion to defend their stand. When appropriate actions are taken they are crying that they are being targeted on religion basis. Why only few Muslims are doing so. There are diversified segments of people Like Rajasthani, Sindhi, Goans,Jharkhand, South Indian. They never objected.

First proof of Army not carrying out atrocities is that protester are attacking the Army openly. Which country has so much patience that Army who are guarding are being attacked. Where were the protesters when Hindus, Kashmiri Pandits were killed. It is clear that few residents are handsomely supporting those anti National elements. The residence of the displaced Hindus and Pandits to be given back. Ask there how many Muslims are displaced. How many Muslims are killed by terrorists.

Whatever happening in J & K, anti social elements are claiming that people there are being suppressed by Army. Which people has guts to attack the Army for one killing. What about the people where Army people who are guarding the borders and are losing their life so that citizens can stay in peace. Where are the protesters now when Army personnel are being attacked killed. There was Mumbai blast which claimed so many lives. Where were these protesters then. Do Mumbai people took laws in hand.

Sir, GPS systems are installed in all 4 wheeler vehicle. But recently I had to call Ambulance through 108. Ambulance booked but the drivers called up twice and was asking address twice. The residence is about only 5 Minutes away but it took more than 25 Minutes. If GPS were installed in the Ambulance there the patients can be admitted to Hospital earlier. During that period, it really tense the relative especially when he is alone. GPS in ambulance is a must and shall be helpful to citizens.

Ashutosh Sharma our companies and patents are very low.our technology very low.This is affect for our companies.To give target for IITS and NIITS for patents for early in technology.Suppose a company recruites world wide top students.But our companies not do this.Our government companies have poor technology.At school days we tell students what is technology we give facilities to their reaserch is better.

respected PM sir, you must organise a competition every year in which people from all over India is allowed to show their new works in field of science and technology. the top ten innovations must not only awarded with a good sum of money but also must be promoted to develop their innovations.their work could be from any field like electronics,robotics,astronomy,etc.

I request to honourable PM to remove the feelings of lower cast and untouchable. Hidus are ruined the Hindu religion. No in other religion and other country such type of mentalities seen. Ancient manuvad/brahaminvad has created castlisum and now through them ( brahimin and all Sants) sir, u can quit it from the mind of all.India will be totally independent and free from riot victims terrorism. Hope your kind action and can see golden India.

Sir, I want to draw your kind attention towards the recent issue going on in Gujarat, rued beaten to Dalit. Other political parties are firing issue taking benifits of dalits. Here the dalits want the justice as why the dalits are being victimizing? Why the upper class fellows are making them their tools and leave them for their victims? No marcy shown by upper class peoples because of untouchable feelings and tendency of upper casts to keep them lower. To Quit castlisum all Sants should do.
