MyGov Talk with Prof. K Vijayraghavan on Science and Technology for Harnessing Innovations (SATHI)

The Ministry of Science and Technology, headed by Dr. Harsh Vardhan is implementing a communications campaign against the backdrop of new initiatives being launched by them under the Startup India Action Plan called “Science and Technology for Harnessing Innovations” The program aims to accelerate ideas to commercialized products or services. In view of the present focus in the country to translate the research taking place in its academic and research institutions into socially useful products and processes and give a boost to entrepreneurship as well as to encourage innovators into establishing start-ups, the Government has launched several initiatives such as Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU), Start-up India, Stand-up India etc. Towards these initiatives, the Departments of Science and Technology, Biotechnology and Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology are having a variety of schemes and programmes that nurture and foster innovation and promote and support incubators and start-ups.

The Ministry is channelizing its resources to help connect various stages of a sustainable development cycle of a startup. More than 3000 innovators, SMEs and startups have been promoted.

In this regards, the Ministry would like to highlight successful and promising initiatives taken up by each the three departments under the ministry i.e. Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).

The ministry is organising three MyGov Talks featuring the secretaries of the three departments respectively. The first Talk is scheduled with Prof. K Vijayraghavan, Secretary - Department of Biotechnology on 17th August 2016 at 5.00PM. Citizens are invited to post their questions and ideas for the Talk.

DBT has played a pioneering role in developing the R&D ecosystem in the country at par with the global ecosystems. While DBT laid emphasis on the research ecosystem, it created an industry interface called BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council) to promote the translational research and entrepreneurship in the biotech domain in the country.

BIRAC was incorporated in 2012 as a not for profit company under the aegis of DBT, to strengthen and empower the emerging Biotech enterprise to undertake strategic research and innovation, addressing nationally relevant product development needs.

4. Ease out export & tax norms to promote local innovations in developing countries. 5. Department can think on starting govt backed brand to market locally developed products through this brand in international markets.

1.Provide Biotechnological research facilities on rental basis to lower entry barrier for SMEs / startups into research & development of new products. Govt can provide these facilities through setting Biotechnology parks in special economic zones. 2. Ease out patenting norms to protect intellectual property. 3. Promote to sale of local innovated medicines (tested & approved)through Jan Aushadhi initiative.

Many teachers in Haryana government not working as a techer they work as like P.A of ministers and clerks. this way not right it the way of totally loss of students and financial loss of state. Why goverment take strict action against that types of teachers

DBT should pave the way for next Green Revolution in India. BT is so powerful that it can even change the course of evolution itself. In Indian scenario BT should help the ancient science of Ayurveda to become a global alternative to western medicine.

Intention and idea for new initiative are good, as it has always been but due to inefficiency in the system that would be entrusted to implement these initiatives/scheme and lack of effective strategy in place, this scheme is destined to yield dismal result if being modest and not say fail. My question is why to waste huge amount of tax payers money before issue related to gross inefficiency and in-competencies in your system. First run a scheme to fix these issues and run such scheme.

नमस्ते।मैं कृष्णा,ज्योतिषशास्त्र में शोधरत । मेरा सवाल यह है कि जिस ज्योतिषशास्त्र का सहारा लेकर अमेरिका,इंगलैंड,जर्मनी इत्यादि देशों में सफल शोध कार्य किया जा रहा है उसे अपने ही देश में क्यों उपेक्षित किया जा रहा है। क्या भिन्न भिन्न क्षेत्र के वैज्ञानिक,चिकित्साविद्,मौसम वैज्ञानिक,ज्योतिषशास्त्र के जानकार के साथ मिलकर कार्य नहीं कर सकते। ?अगर ये साथ मिलकर कार्य करें तो समाज के लिए बड़ा हितकारी होगा। क्या सरकार से इस क्षेत्र में समर्थन मिलने की उम्मीद की जा सकती है ? नमस्ते।मैं कृष्णा। पिछले 10 सालों से ज्योतिषशास्त्र के क्षेत्र में शोधरत हूँ। कई देशों के निकलने वाले medical journal articles में medical astrology की चर्चा की जाती रही है प्रख्यात डॅाक्टरों द्वारा।यहाँ तक की अमेरिका के Cecil book of medicine में ग्रहों की चर्चा है। जिस बात की चर्चा हमारे यहाँ के पुराणों में है और उसपर अमेरिका,जर्मनी,इंगलैंड के विश्व विद्यालयों में इसपर शोध कार्य किया जा रहा है तो इसे अपने देश में क्यों नहीं समर्थन प्राप्त हो रहा।सरकार की उदासीनता का कारण बताएँ। Regards

Lions Clubs International, Dist.323A3, has bn working on Reducing Pollution generated by vehicular traffic n all machines using Fossil Fuel. It has bn found that use of Hydrogen Produced on site according to demand, from Water is a simple solution to reduce pollution. We have also made kits.The System not only economically produces "Hydrogen - Fuel" as said but, also, renders Hydrogen - Fuel safer than natural gas ... allowing cars, trucks, welding m/cs to run on or be powered by water. chianna chahti hai. sir har baar delhi ke hi topper kyu bante hai kahi or se kyu nahi ya to pure desh me education system aisa hona chahiye ki bcha pahle hi prepare ho. par desh ki kuch ek universities ko chodkar baki kisi university me aisa nahi hai. to hum log kese un sc/st wale amir maa baap ke bcho ke barabar aa payenge. sir jrur sochiye is baare me. kyunki ye kafi logo ki kahani hai mujh jese village ke har bache ki kahani hai.

to sir mai ab bsc kar chuka hu. or ek bda spna paal liya maine IAS banne ka. par abhi pta chla ki upsc age kam kar rahi hai. sir miss tina dabi jese bcho ke bare me sirf mat sochiye jo delhi me ek IES officer ke ghr paida hote hai or mahngi coachingo me padhte hai or rahi sahi kasr reservation puri kar deta hai. mujh jese garib bche bhi is desh ka hissa hai jo mahngi coaching or delhi ko afford nhi kar skte hai. ghr pe baith kar padhte hai mere pass hai to sirf time or wo bhi mujhse sarkar
