It should be examined whether the social welfare schemes implemented by the central government are reaching the beneficiaries properly. Corruption is increasing in the welfare schemes implemented by the state government and local bodies in collaboration with them. The central government should openly condemn the state governments where corruption is rampant. The central government sends money directly to the bank accounts of the people to prevent money leakage. But it seems that state government officials will do it without any effect.
Corruption allegations have been raised in many places against representatives of local bodies for committing irregularities in central government schemes.
A warning should be sent to states that allow irregularities in central government schemes.
