Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has time and again emphasised on building “Brand India” with a special focus on Spiritual Tourism. Suggest 10 measures to support spiritual tourism in the country and compile them in a document.

MyGov Task to suggest 10 Measures or call it “10-DASHA MANTHRAS” to promote SPIRITUAL TOURISM in our country is elaborated thro’ a PPT presentation, uploaded herewith. Spiritual tourism has lots of potential in our country & INDIA CAN BE TRULY, A FAR GREATER HUB OF SPIRITUAL TOURISM in the days to come. Let’s all have this SPIRIT 2 TAKE SPIRITUAL TOURISM 2 greater heights–which will ultimately benefit our country & countrymen!.
I have suggested 10 measures and the points to be involved in implementing this measures and its benefits,that i am submitting you through this file.
1.Encouraging foreign university research projects about religions of India, 2.Making on line directory, 3.Digital promotion, 4.Facilitating foreign tourists, 5.Friendly behaviour, 6.Cleanliness especially in pilgrimage centres and temples, 7.Arranging world class festivals, 8.Encouraging Yoga and spiritual healing, 9.Meditation camps, 10.Better connectivity to religious and spiritual centres.
There are many suggestions that can be helpful in developing India a spiritual tourist destination.
1. MAKING ASHRAMS CLOSE TO RIVERS. WITH STAYING FACILITIES. 2. VILLAGES TO HAVE CONNECT WITH INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION ON THE TOURIST NEEDS. 3. OPENNESS AND FREE FLOW OF PHILOSOPHICAL IDEAS. 4. SPREADING AWARENESS ON WESTERN PHILOSOPHY( INCLUDING GREEK ETC.).AT SCHOOL LEVEL 5. SYNTHESIS OF INDIAN AND WESTERN IDEAS , PHILOSOPHY. (THROUGH OSHO LITERATURE ETC.)
1. cleanliness
2. proper and regular maintainance
3. avoiding the misuse of tourists places, Ex: washing clothes, pooping, housing, etc.
4. Restricting the street animals.
3. creating standard costs so that no localite could cheat tourists on the name of traditions and culture.
4. opening govt. food courts around tourists places. This could prevent local vendors from overpricing.
5. connecting them locally as well as centrally with transport facilities.
6. restricting beggers.

1.Print separate short booklets on (i) Indian Religions and customs of these religions (ii) Religious and cultural places district-wise 2. Alignment should be done of spiritual and rural tourism 3. research scholars of philosophy, religion, history, micro economics etc of Indian as well as foreign universities . should be encouraged to do research in this area. 4. security, cleanliness, infrastructure etc. 5.Different tour packages should be announced.
