India is home to a rich culture and legacy. It celebrates diversity and embraces plurality. Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has time and again emphasised on building “Brand India” with a special focus on Spiritual Tourism. Suggest 10 measures to support spiritual tourism in the country and compile them in a document.
Concentrate much on POSITIONING Indian spirituality
1.Land of SHAKTHIPEETHAS.2.Land of JYOTHIRLINGAS.3.Land of ASHTAVINAYAKAS.4. Land of HOLI RIVERS. 5. Land of VEDAS and PURANAS.6.Land of BHAGAVADGEETHA.7.Land of YOG and MEDITATION.8.Land of DEEKSHAS and PUSHKARAS.9. Land of YAJNA 10.Land of RITUALS. This sort of positioning backed by aggressive promotion will definitely help India attract both domestic and the foreign tourists to various spiritual destinations, thus building BRAND INDIA.
1.Select very popular spiritual destinations of different religions in the country.2.Develop infrastructure and accessibility at the destination.3.Provide economy and luxurious accommodation.facilities. 4. Design the programs to enhance spirituality day by day at the destination. 5.Ensure nobility of the destination to remain immaculate.6.Let the destination offer peace and solace to the pilgrims. 7.Provide food 8.Make pilgrims participate in rituals.9. Respect all cultures. 10.Ensure security.
Summarized my thoughts in the attached
To make India a Hub for Spiritual Tourism, I feel we should go to basics for Long eduring results..1. Encourage Education system with Moral science, Vedic Gurukul system teaching Modern science too 2. Places like Vrindavan,Jyortilingas, other prominent religion centres should be developed i.e. cleanliness, roads, facilities, connectivity, keeping its original heritage.3 Yoga and Meditation which is India's gift to world needs to widely established with prominent non commercial Centres across India
1. Create culture centres which aim to educate rural people of their ancient culture. Create buildings with respect to ancient architecture of the area. Start workshops to teach locals of skills for manufacturing/performing ancient arts of the area, Promote local cuisine, create authority which categorizes yoga/spiritual teachers and blacklists bogeys/cons. Allow use of bhaang for cultural experience. Promote lesser known arts like simbalam, vajramushti, gatak. Create townships at heritage sites
Add cultural attitude in Incredible India
Do Advertising of. Places from Big star of Hollywood. And make a Website like India Torism which contain all places in India
First we should learn about it then we can make our country a golden hub...
I think of the following ways to promote Spiritual Tourism:
Incentivizing Private Sector Tourism Firms which incorporates Spiritual Places in their packages as a must.
Creating a Specific Design Tourist Centre in all Major Cities of India in which there are all aspects of spirituality that exists in India.
Promoting Spiritual Places through Media Channels like Sadhna TV, Astha TV, Ishwar TV, Sanskaar etc
Mode of Transport shouldn’t be complicated.
Yoga is what attracts spiritual tourists to India. Therefore Yoga institutes can be set up in the spiritual cities of our country like Varanasi and Rishikesh like Ananda in the Himalayas. Another way can be through the propagation of our rituals like performing puja or doing the aarti. The tourists coming to spirtual places should be made aware of our rich culture.
