Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India has approved a nationwide initiative namely ‘National Digital Literacy Mission’ (NDLM) to provide ICT training to 10 Lakh (Ten Lakh) persons One in every eligible household in selected Blocks in each State/UT. This would enable the beneficiaries to use ICT and related applications and participate effectively in the democratic process, nation building and enhance their livelihood.
This scheme seeks creative mind to design a Logo, Slogan and Banner for NDLM initiative. The Last date of entries is 15th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

SLOGAN: DIGITAL LITERACY TOMORROW'S ADEQUACY.
The LOGO with a "Power on " button and a " pointed finger" shows " teaching of how to switch on the computer and other digital electronics devices" which is the first step of the digital literacy. The banner shows two fisherman in the mid of the sea and trying to do banking transactions while fishing, this is the reach of digital literacy to all corners of the people.
