Topic: NRI Voting NRI Registration is available, however it is not easy nor is there any clear support. Make it simple and accessible - by mail / apps. At registration also make provisions for Voter registration. This registartion should also be made a base for NRI's (longterm) availing services at High commission Offices. NRI should also benefit by this registration by having some sops - Example: Rebate for Airport Tax when entering India.

Issue - Passport page limit. Solution - Enable issue of passport with more eg 100, 200 pages. This will prevent hassles of carrying multiple passports for frequent travelers.

Issue - Indian passport is not given on arrival visas in almost every country. Solution - Sign agreements with more countries to enable on arrival visas. Have more secure passports with a chip so that they can't be faked and other countries can trust it. Have a system for other countries to access where they can lookup person's credibility(eg criminal records) using passport number. Start with few countries and then build up to cover more countries.

Issue: After applying the passport, the application goes for Police Verification. This step takes a longer time and requires to pay bribe in general. As being Indian nationality, everyone should get the passport document on time and as and when required. We need to make the timeline shorter and flawless.

There is an eminent need to have an arrangement within the high commission of India abroad to solve the attestation of documents. All documents are supposed to be stamped by CPV division in India before High commission overseas accepts to attest them when required. Be it Indian driving licensee or marriage certificate. The world is changing and these bureaucratic styles are to be dismantled to have a faster response by the High commission abroad.
