OCI issues: My Daughter has OCI. OCI is issued with OCI card and Life long Visa is stamped on the passport. Her U.S. Passport expired and she obtained the new one. She traveled to Mumbai with her new passport and OCI card. The immigration refused her entry in India, under the ground that she does not have Visa stamped on her Passport even though she has produced and showed the OCI card, a Government of India issued document. She was harassed and forced to get temporary Visa. Change this.

I regularly travel on business. My passport is full of visas for other countries. It takes really long time to get visas of other countries. We don't have right treaties in place.

Please create a special category of visas for verified people and have countries accept those specialized passports fast on arrival.

You can have more sophisticated authentication features for such passports like digitally secure-biometrics APIs so that immigration departments from other countries can use them.

Dual Citizenship ---Please provide dual citizenship to all people who have migrated abroad for jobs, research, study and living in EU, USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA etc and hold PIO, OCI etc. They should also have equal rights in jobs so that they implement/promote best practices in India. They should also be recruited on short term job like 3 years, 5 years etc in various govt department, hospitals, policy planning etc to make India modern.

personally know a lot of NRI,s that applied for tourist visa to visit India or applied for OCI last year. their passport were returned after few weeks and were give silly escuses like "not surrendered your old Indian passport so we cannot issue a visa" . Eventhough this people are born in India and were treated badly by the counsulate, they decided to cancel their trip and that is not good for our tourism and it creates a bad impression. things like this be avoided and wise people be appointed.

(Issue)Outdated documents & application are still available on the Indian embassy websites which gives an uncertainty of the correct application to be used.
(Action)Can approach a one country one embassy platform where all Indian embassy users can use common applications from one platform and country specific applications can be separate. Subjecting the government websites to periodically quality audits can bridge the lapses.

(Issue)With india topping the global work force on Information technology our government websites such as Passport seva Kendra and Individual ministry websites have to be upgraded to be interactive. Though we have FAQ in a Government website mostly everyone end up searching public forums to know what to do.
(Action) Involve specialist content writers knowledgeable on the subject to create the FAQ and involve public to test the pilot website before putting it though.

First solve the border fixation with neighbor countries, The give orders/notice to all police station to find out illegal, long living without VISA/end of VISA in India. Then we can stop illegal migration.

Part 2: This means when an Indian go back he will get onyl 6 months' contribution to social security back, while the contribution for the earlier years will be forfeited by the Japan Govt. On the other hand, a Japanese expat when comes back, Indian Govt. will return whole of his contribution to PF along with 8.5% tax free interest. This is unjust negotiation for Indians.

Dear PM, you are about to visit Japan in a week's time. I have a point to raise for your visit. Kindly revisit the India-Japan Social Security Agreement (SSA). Though it is not yet effective, but soon it will be. This SSA is totally tilted towards. Japanese expats will draw all benefits from the SSA, but Indian do not get ANYTHING out of it. Indian expats working in Japan will still be governed by the local laws of Japan.
