This task seeks ideas on how to improve employment creation in three sectors of the Indian economy. The information and ideas received from this task can be forwarded to the concerned government department, experts and industry leaders so that they stand to gain from the suggestions given.
Dear Sir,
Job Creation comes from imagination. We may or may not like it but only villages and agriculture have capacity to accommodate aspirations and requirements of todays India. We should focus on betterment of villages and that will come when ignited minds reside in villages,. today due to lack of opportunities and proper schooling our villages have been reduced to OLD AGE HOMES. we should think of providing reservation to Rural population in proportion to their population .
Agriculture contd..
6) Availability of water for irrigation using borewells/canals at each gram panchayat level
7) Ensure that low quality foodgrains/crops are discourages and those with superior quality are cultivated
8) Enable government purchase of food grains through "Granary" at gram panchayat level with immediate payment in their accounts
9) Introduce free health checkups and treatments of cattles used in villages
10) Create sports academy at block/district level
Agriculture contd...
3) Encourage local "Granary" for crop storing at every gram panchayat level using employment generation programs. There should be a integrated network of such "Granary" at district/Block level
4) Considerations can be made to involve banks to keep stock details of these "Granary" with customized products for farmers and printed on their passbooks
5) Focus on solar energy generation among farmers to assist in their agricultural activities
Job Creation in Agriculture
1) During Swadeshi movement, Mahatma Gandhi introduced "Charkha" in every household. Today focus should be on enabling similar commercial activity in every household at villages, since farmers do not work 365 days in fields
2) Small scale industries should be setup at each block/district level which will require the yields of these household activities as their inputs for finished products
We need to identify the people working in others field and make gov employee...and the landlords who want to get work done in their fields must register in panchayath and the panchayath officer has to send these ppl to do work in the fields , this will basically reduce the people coming to cities in search of job......during the non farming seasons we should make use of this employees in local development works like construction, road etc and gov should provide training in scientific farming etc
Agriculture sectors- India is having a lots of land without irrigation by joining the river across the country this land can be bring in irrigation. The farmers must be periodically massage newest technology in the farming sectors.
Industries-There should be heavy taxes on the goods imported from the foreign countries due to this local manufacturer will survive in the competition of the foreign companies.
Services-All the tourist places in the india should be properly connected by railway, roads.
My views are to make loan schemes more easier and fair , through which we can attract more young entrepreneurs who will not only generate job for himself but for others also.We should find certain fields in which our neighboring countries have beaten us and focus upon that to gain a leading position for example Toys Industry or Electrical goods Industry which is dominated by Chinese Industries.Govt. should give special sops to breath life into these almost vanished Industries.
MSME sector is vital for job creation. Liberalisation of Indian Economy resulted into an environment which has been incorporating Entrepreneurial DNA in youngster. Finance for a business is like blood in the human body. Govt. planned lot of schemes to finance MSMES but loan approval process is very hectic and time consuming. Which results in frustration amongst youngsters. We need to make the finance approval process hassle free, more transparent and it should have some deadline.
India is one of the country where various medical practices are followed like allopathy, ayurveda and homeopathy. Like IT or Manufacturing HUBs, India should also create Medical HUBs where all these services can be offered at one place. Let foreigners come to India for various medical operations, give them on arrival VISA facilities. Setup pathological labs, import world class medical technologies, connect medical HUBS to airports and railway stations exclusively. Refer attached PPT
Labour lawa reforms is need of hour...today industrials tend to do more automization than that of to depend on human skills just to make it sure that they keep future strike etc. away. Unions are necessary however it should not be political union because most of the time what is observed is that outside political unions just exploit enployers and do nothing good for labours. Also industry specific colleges need to available in near by areas.
