Such drives are a wonderful opportunity for people’s participation and they are major avenues to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness in one’s neighbourhood.
To Develop a proper system of using Human waste & other waste in Railway Coaches as useful Energy Resource in a well sanitized way.
The posts in this discussions are for short term solutions. Taking up brooms occasionally for street cleaning drives can only become a news in news papers. We have to go for long term self sustaining solution for the problem .Everyone knows that waste should be thrown in dust bins. Bins are to be dumped in garbage dump.
But, problem here is people not following this. This is primarily because already there is lot of dirt on the streets and all around that people don't mind adding to it.
We done in nearby my house area. It done in very small area. I am looking for more people with same thoughts.
So we will go for large. It is our responsiblity to clean our area-city-country as we keep our home clean.
Do not throw waste on the road. Make use of less plastic bags as much as possible.
In Sangli, we have done a big site where children's can able to play. Few peoples from our colony come together and worked to clean that site. The experience was very good due to that unknown peoples came together, communicate and work properly..
Thanks to mygov to give an idea to clean our colony.
The process should start by forming a group of young people in each locality under Mayor or Ward Commissioner to initiate a drive for cleanliness by visiting door to door & request people to decompose their waste properly
Sir Students are more powerful people in this modern era. if the task will be started through the student then elder people will also join them later and in this way we can clean our country..
DO NOT SPIT HERE AND THERE....
1. City and town should be filled with fixed close dustbins especially near traffic kiosk, market places, bus stops so it will be under vigilance and it should be highly visible.
2. Municipal corporation or a licensed private company should recruit the street and temple beggars for sweeping the town.
3. All major waste accumulators especially near veg and fish market to be enclosed type.
4. Strict vigilance department cell on cleanliness must be establish to check each corner of the street.
What to do with city waste which is generated in several hundred tons every day. In the name of segregation, a lot of time is wasted and waste gets spilled over. This makes city dirtier. Waste generation quantum exceeds than capacity to dispose it. Instead, this waste can be used for generation of power etc
First awareness campaign should start from remote village level to National level to make their surrounding neat and clean through public participation.People to people sensitization about cleanliness should be provided .Based on the outcome swatch mohalla, village, mandal district should be annouced to encourage to the people to make their area clean.
