MyGov brings a wonderful opportunity for the citizens to design the Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity (DAVP) Wall Calendar for 2017. The participants are free to choose any theme, look & feel and design language.
This is not only an opportunity to explore your creativity and win a prize, but also to showcase your work across different government and non government bodies where the calendar will reach through mass distribution.
The entries must be all-inclusive and have design for all 12 months in the submitted file. The designers are advised to keep the standard Wall Calendar format in mind while working on the task.
About DAVP
The Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity (DAVP) is the nodal agency to undertake multi-media advertising and publicity for various Ministries and Departments of Government of India. Some of the Autonomous Bodies also route their advertisements through DAVP. As a service agency, it endeavours to communicate at grass roots level on behalf of various Central Government Ministries.
Last Date of submission is 13th November, 2016.
Prize Money: Rs 5,00,000/-

Yoga lets people discover the sense of oneness with yourself,the world & the nature,said by our Hon'ble PM. This design is an attempt to make people include Yoga in their everyday life. Each month depicts an asana from the Surya Namaskara series,thereby,covering the series in the year. The benefits of the asana and the quote in bottom are for motivating the onlookers. The background indicates the vibrancy one can get and be in oneness with themselves & nature by practicing this ancient tradition
