World Hindi Conferences (WHC) are being organized since 1975 in different parts of the world. The last World Hindi Conference was organized in South Africa in 2012. This year, the 10th World Hindi Conference is scheduled to be organized in New Delhi.

The main objectives for the organization of World Hindi Conference are to promote and propagate Hindi in foreign countries as a world language, establish the relevance of Hindi language in the Globalised world and encourage research work and original writings in Hindi by the foreigners and people of Indian origin etc.  

Citizens are invited to design/suggest a suitable logo for 10th World Hindi Conference that would reflect the spirit and objectives of World Hindi Conference.

Ministry of External Affairs seeks entries for design a Logo for “10th World Hindi Conference 2015”.

The last date of submission is 20th March, 2015.

The selected entry will be awarded a prize of Rs. 50,000/-.

The logo I designed is depicting the numeric "10th" of World Hindi Conference. In the logo, the right feet of "Bharat Maa" is depicting the digit 1 and the globe is been used as digit 0. The "hindi varnas" are used in the globe that shows the importance of Bhartiya language and how this can be widely circulated in the world. Primarily the "Tri Colors" of Indian Flag is being used in this logo to add an aura of Patriotism. Punchline- Hindi: Eakta ki Mithi Boli

I represent the sphere on the center as world and tried to spread all the letters all over the sphere to show that this conference is held for spreading the Hindi language globally.I also display our national flag behind the globe and the sphere also represents the wheel chakra of the Indian flag and also represents the zero for the no.10th as i draw 1 no, in chartreuse color, the color represents the joy in teaching dark blue of typography represents integrity & communication .

Logo for 10th world Hindi Conference. The logo is having the world in background which signifies to promote and propagate Hindi in foreign countries as a world language.

Ten has been written in devanagari script, with the shunya forming globe / world with India highlighted. And the feather is an attempt to include the peacock element.
