Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has been entrusted with the responsibility of creating a sustainable skill ecosystem to serve as the backbone for the success of national projects like Make in India, Smart Cities, Digital India, Swachh Bharat, NamamiGange etc.
‘Skill India’ has been envisioned as the main driver of skill development for the nation’s workforce. The youthful demographic profile of the country would be a huge asset if Skill India is successful in its endeavour to Skill at Scale with high Speed and Standards.
The vision for Skill India is - “To rapidly scale up skill development efforts in India, by creating an end-to-end, outcome-focused implementation framework, which aligns the demands of the employers for a well-trained skilled workforce with the aspirations of Indian citizens for sustainable livelihoods.”
Thus, Skill India is focused on empowering the country’s youth by training them in skill sets of their choice which will enhance their employability and result in more job opportunities for them at a national and global level.
The main objectives are as follows:
• Build training capacity, esp. in the unorganised sector
• Ensure long-term skill training opportunities
• Establish benchmarked standards
• Develop a network of quality instructors
• Leverage existing public infrastructure
• Facilitate overseas employment
• Create pathways for transitioning between vocational and general education
• Support weaker/disadvantaged sections of society
• Develop a national database which maps demand and supply of skilled workforce
Citizens of India are again invited to design/suggest a suitable logo and a tagline for the ‘Skill India’ campaign that would reflect the spirit and objectives of skilling India.
Last Date for submission is 19th June, 2015.
Cash Prize for winning logo: Rs. 75,000

Concept Description:
1. Logo Depicts a man having torch flame representing the new Indian youth, a rebel, new Ambitions, Aspirations, A new start and a new revolution.
2. Ashok Chakra in a Gear represents a relation to Make in India Campaign and industrialization and manufacturing.
3. Colors from Indian flag are used to represent India.
4. logo Can be re-scaled in any size and will be legible and visible.
Tag Line for Skill India:
"Kushal Bharat, Safal Bharat"
To design this logo I use symbol of flying bird. Its means develop our skill & take on with our skill. In the center of logo I use Ashok chakra & our Flag color which is representing our Nation. Blue color is represent commutation & trust, in the logo Tagline is “LEARN DEVELOP EARN”
Tagline: Shaping Talent, Transforming India.
Concept of this logo is that every industry will grow & build nation hand in hand. Thanks to skill India project.
