The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

With every country moving towards digitization of its services, India too is not far from achieving this feat. Digitization today, is seen as a possibility of achieving results faster and smoother. Keeping the same in mind, we have developed the logo in a way that not only depicts itself as a trademark of digitization but also symbolizes India nad its true colors.
