The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Please find the below Logo symbolizing : 1st – Mobile symbolizes the Digitalization 2nd– Hand symbolize The Empowerment 3rd element is Group of People shown on Screen of Mobile and Color used in Name – symbolize citizens of India connected within the nation and worldwide that makes life easy for them in many aspects. The Logo symbolizes the Empowerment Of Indian Citizens through Digitalization, whereby every citizen of India owns a Cell Phone and be connected through it.
