The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Concept of Digital India. Lotus symbolizes the nation as it is our national flower and half pixelated image symbolizes the need of further digitisation which will be fulfilled by this initiative. I think the concept of the logo cannot be any more simpler than this. Thanks for providing this opportunity to me.
