The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

about the logo:-
(1):- in the tag the both the alphabets "d" & "i" lies in the simple single structure
(2):-the blue colour denote the colour of digitals.
(3):-the entina which lies between the logo denote the digital world

Using Ashok Chakra as a visual metaphor for India, and Binary code for "India" as a representation of Digital Infrastructure, I have tried to propose the design for an identity for "DIGITAL INDIA Campaign".
