The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Here is my submission for the Digital India Logo Design Contest. My logo encompasses the vision of Deity and digital acutually work in 0 & 1 pattern. I have taken inspiration from the Ashok Chakra as the logo. Ashok Chakra is also known as Samay Chakra in which all the 24 spokes represented 24 hours of the day to show the movement of the time.Through my logo I aim to communicate the fact that India has come a long way in digital innovation and aspires to be a digitally empowered society.

I have taken inspiration from the Ashok Chakra to create an integrated circuit as the logo. Ashok Chakra is also known as Samay Chakra in which all the 24 spokes represented 24 hours of the day to show the movement of the time.
