The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The logo has been achieved with a goal of making India a shining star. Digital India can be one of the major contributors in the scenario. Use of the electronic hand in the logo symbolize the human work of India which can have a strong effect on the world. The spiral showcases the problems which prevail presently , an digital hand being coming out of India to achieve our goals. The 3D attractive logo can be a push forward factor for all Indian citizens

India can progress further/faster only when people share the information/knowledge and help each other to reach their goal. Use the digital world to educate ourselves, to educate others and for the betterment of the society. Positive thinking will always end up with good progress. Sab ka saath Sab ka vikaas.

In the 21st century, A “Digital India” is defined as work done in a matter of seconds, in a matter of clicks, in a matter of using technology. This logo is conceptualized with a digital hand working in India , with India with a vision of providing digital infrastructure, providing governance & services and digital empowerment of citizens.

Digital India powerful india.. The cabinet on Wednesday approved the ambitious Digital India programme that aims to connect all gram panchayats by broadband internet, promote e-governance and transform India into a connected knowledge economy. Very happy to hear this.

In the 21st century, A “Digital India” is defined as work done digitally, making the country technically strong and powerful with a vision of providing digital infrastructure, providing governance & services and digital empowerment of citizens. This logo is conceptualized with a camera lens from the universe showing the blinking stars, and the lens which is zooming and focusing on a Digitalised INDIA.
