The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

My logo encompasses the vision of Deity which is centred on providing digital infrastructure, governance and services and digital empowerment of citizens. I have taken inspiration from the Ashok Chakra to create an integrated circuit as the logo. Ashok Chakra is also known as Samay Chakra in which all the 24 spokes represented 24 hours of the day.Through my logo I aim to communicate the fact that India has come a long way in digital innovation and aspires to be a digitally empowered society.

Digital India - Logo has 3 main parts 1) Name Shows Digital India with Tiranga Colors, which is shining India after digitization on India with its base line as Government. 2) Ashok Chakra shows to go ahead in the digitization of india with all its indians. 3) Hotspot on India - i Letter shows that everyone have a prior location connected with India and with every Indians.

around of ashok chakra electro magnetic wave are flowing around shows the sign of network, covorage, those waves coloured as our indian tricolor flag, name is written in font like LED lights at bottom side i have given a tag line as i am suggesting, i.e. connecting heart to heart, means this forum is to go upto every person at any level through digitalization.

Digital India Logo: When it comes about digital, binary to be considered first. And also we have D and I visually similar to 0 and 1 so concept of this logo based on 0 and 1.
