The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) is an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The Foundation has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing, administering and carrying on the important and long-term schemes and programmes identified during the Centenary Celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The main objectives of the Foundation inter alia include implementation of programmes and activities for furthering the ideology and message of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar among the masses in India as well as abroad.

Presently, the Foundation does not have any logo of its own. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Dr. Ambedkar Foundation. The last date of submission is October 1, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.

The title in the logo, viz: ‘Dr. Ambedkar Foundation’ is of the same font as we see it on the website of the Foundation but I have written in pink. Similarly, the two hands in the base are also shown in pink colour because we connect pink colour with Love, Friendship, Harmony, Compassion, Relaxation and Companionship. Pink is symbolic of gentle emotions and emotional unions. Pink is considered a colour of good health and life.

Entry No.3---> My logo self represents the all activities of The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) as likes social change award, medical aid scheme, upliftment of weaker class, social justice and laws, education, libraries, thoughts in research o f Babasaheb, merit award schemes for meritorious students of secondary and senior examination belonging to scheduled castes/tribes etc...
