The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, weather and agriculture, etc. to rural community. NOFN project will provide fibre connectivity to all the 2, 50,000 Gram Panhayats (GPs) in the country.
This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Project initiated by USO Fund of Department of Telecommunications.
The last date of submission is 1st January, 2015.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize of:
1. First Prize - Rs. 51,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)
2. Second prize - Rs. 31,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)

Hello, i have designed a logo for NOFN project. my idea was to create something that can show how entire country's gram panchayats will come together and stay connected. i used a decent formal font to show the feel of security and trust. colors are bright for logo as it is one more new step in making of modern India. Indian map wrapped with swirls to show how the entire country's GM will be connected together.

The logo shows outline map of India with a central server connecting all the gram panchayats with transmission and reception of data and all the services i.e. e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, weather and agriculture being provided are shown in boxes connected by optical fibre wires.
