As part of the logo design contest, the citizens are invited to suggest a suitable logo for Ahmedabad Smart City. Contestants are free to choose a theme / colour scheme for the logo.
Conditions
Minimum Size of Logo: 1” x 1” (1 inch wide by 1 inch high)
Last Day for Submission of Entries is 20th October, 2015.
Logo shall not include any material (photograph, icon, symbol etc) that is copyright protected
Winners
The best 3 entries would be declared as winners.
Prize Money (Cash / Vouchers / Gift items*):
• 1st Prize: Rs. 15,000/-
• 2nd Prize: Rs. 10,000/-
• 3rd Prize: Rs. 5,000/-
• Consolation Prizes (10 nos.): Rs. 2,000/- each
The winning logo can be adopted by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) as an official logo for Ahmedabad Smart City*.
*AMC reserves the right to select the prize winners and to use the logo as the official logo for Ahmedabad Smart City

The below logo is basically a modifications of Doordarshan logo. People specially the middle class has always associated Doordarshan with modernisation of the country. Doordarshan was the one that opened the gates of communication for the common man. Have added Indian Tricolors to give it more patriotic look.

Keeping the heritage of the city and the blessings of mahatma gandhi in the form of mahatma gandhi ashram in mind, i made this logo, which together resembles the letter A. the abstract structure of a heritage made in tech form and above it the charkha keeps it symbolic the flavour of Ahmedabad ,the data icons in the side gives it a more digital flavour. I'm sure people will like it.
