The goal of Swachh Bharat is to provide access for every person to:-
Sanitation facilities including Toilets, Solid and Liquid Waste Disposal Systems, and clean surroundings.

We have to achieve this by 2019 as a befitting tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary.

Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), the Goal is now to make India Open Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2019 by construction of individual, cluster & community toilets; and villages will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayats. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India seeks entries for design a Logo for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.  The last date of submission is 19th September, 2014.  The winning entry will be awarded a  cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

Concept about logo - A flower always a symbol of beauty, like a flower our country need to be clean and beautiful . Tri colors used in petals and round shape define continuity, connectivity of this abhiyan from one individual to another, from one hand to another hand...

This is my logo for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. Modi ji had expressed his wish to gift Mahatma Gandhi, on his 150th anniversary, a clean India wherein each citizen has access to proper sanitation. The access will be truly universal only when the needs of the physically disabled are also kept in mind. Gandhi ji features in the logo to symbolize our commitment to achieve this target by 2019.

The objective of the Swachh bharat abhiyan logo is about sanitation facilities, solid and liquid waste disposal, recycling of the waste products, clean drinking water and green power generation for clean surrounding. Aim of our logo is about green lifestyle for every future indians

The Logo is formed by Lotus shape, which is the national flower of India. The Blue petals indicate the purity/clean like the water, The green leaf in the shape of hand indicates responsibility of each individual to control this cleanliness. Together we can achieve the mission on Swachh Bharat
