The visitors, who intend to visit an office of the government, find it hard to get entry in the office due to the time taken for processing their visit request and subsequently issuing the pass. An attempt has been made to simplify this process by introducing a web based solution for Visitor Management System (eVisitors).
Visitors are provided with facility to register their visit request in advance through eVisitors (http://eVisitors.nic.in). This system facilitates the citizens through online registration of all the requests for entry - pass / meeting request / visitor slip or pass to the government officers. The citizens can also track status of their request through this site.
Government offices can access the Management Information System (MIS) known as eVisitorMIS (http://eVisitors.nic.in/eVisitorMIS) for management of their visitors.
Citizens are invited to design/suggest a suitable logo for the Visitor Management System (eVisitors).
The last date of submission is 29th April, 2015
The selected entry will be awarded a prize of Rs. 50,000/-.

The logo depicts a common man in the age of digital India (represented as 'e') taking a leap for gateway to the government to reach our government faster (depicted as staircase) thus reducing the hour long waiting and standing in queue. As a resultant reducing the hour long waiting into minutes (represented as green clock at back) and thus saving time for a common man. Whereas the green color represents the relaxed nature of a person and encourages for growth after an accomplished task.

Please find attached for the logo design. The colour of the logo can be changed suitably. The concept of the logo is a door knocker with government building conveying the message that the visitor management system is like the knocker to get entry in government office.

Hi,
I want to depict 'Visit India' thus a logo is designed keeping in mind that:
1.The logo is for Indian govt, hence I have used half map of India as upper portion while finishing the lower portion with alphabet 'V'.
2.I have used 'Ashok Chakra' in alphabet 'I' to depict Indian Flag and its values.
3.I want people to keep visiting India hence I have made alphabet 'S' with both side arrows.
4.Finally, I want to welcome the visitors hence a 'Namaste' is symbolized by second last alphabet 'I'

Here's my logo for the eVisitors program. The color scheme is inspired from the national flag as the site is for the national citizens. The 'e' in eVisitors is portrayed as a human figure which represents the people of India.

#eVisitors - My Logo showing Computer (as e) representing electronic process and a Bird (as V ) representing the "Citizen of India who can now freely move into Government Offices (like bird) without going through long waiting procedures. It shows how this web based solution will give wings to the visitors to visit the office of their interest in minimal duration.

The National Emblem is the symbol of government of India being used by Government to identify itself in any type of media, be it paper or digital. The Logo for Visitor Management System shows the National Emblem to signify Offices of Government and Joyous people around it to signify the ecstasy of people before and after visiting the Government Offices.
The True Colors of Flag i.e. Saffron and Green symbolize the People of India and their diversity.
