What should the mascot be?
Generally speaking, there are three types of mascots:
Humans
Inanimate objects
Animals
The mascot can be represented in any form.
Concept design:
The mascot should be injected with an element of fun; it should be memorable, relatable and build awareness about objectives of the organization.
The mascot needs to be unique:
It is imperative that the mascot design is completely unique and builds rapport with the wider target audience which includes school going children, housewives, vehicle owners, commercial vehicle drivers, industries and farmers among others.
The mascot should represent the following themes:
Primary Theme: Fuel Conservation
Secondary Theme which runs concurrent to the primary theme:

The hands point out to the need of saving petroleum that is a non renewable resource and the tree and water signifies the importance of sustainable development as they help in carbon sequestration and transforming the black carbon into green and blue carbon.
All these works are really acceptable ,since it gives a chance to the common man to be a part and thus creates self awareness.
