E-Greetings Design Contest for Eid-Ul-Fitr 2016

Eid-Ul-Fitr, or the festival of breaking the fast, is a significant Muslim occasion that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world to mark the completion of Ramadan. This auspicious day is celebrated on the first day of month of Shawwal by organizing a feast for friends and family. MyGov is hosting an e-greetings design contest to mark this day and celebrate the spirit of Eid-Ul-Fitr by creating intriguing designs.
The last date of submission is 3rd July, 11:00 AM.
1. Submissions should be in the portrait layout with the size 10x12cm. Designs in any other size and layout would not be considered.
2. All designs shortlisted by the Standing Committee, after eliminating unsuitable entries, would be published on the portal.
3. Based on actual usage, (i.e. citizen’s choice/acceptability) over the period 4th July, 2016 – 20th July, 2016, top 3 designs will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,500/- and Rs. 5,000/- respectively.
4. Subsequently, only the top 5 most used designs will be retained on the portal.
5. Entries should be original. Individuals submitting copied entries would not be considered for future contests.
Disclaimer: All efforts will be made by the Standing Committee to check for originality of the submissions, however MyGov and e-Greetings portal will not be held accountable for any submission identified as a copy.

चाँद से रोशन हो रमजान तुम्हारा इबादत से भरा हो रोज़ा तुम्हारा हर रोज़ा और नमाज़, कबूल हो तुम्हारी यही अल्लाह से है, दुआ हमारी! ईद मुबारक! ”
The card designed is based on the design of ancient inscription. Moreover, the design is also a bit inspired by the Mughal floral design. Whereas, the central part is totally in a drawing format based on contemporary style and the sketching part is however a personal forte. The card is simple and tend to look as an ancient Mughal papyrus.
