The Municipal Corporation Bilaspur invites entries for essay competition from the Citizens and Stakeholders on the topic ‘My smart city Bilaspur’ or ‘Mere sapno ka shehar Bilaspur’.

The essay should have the following contents:

• Any one issue or need brought out by the citizens of Bilaspur, eg – better public transport, clean Bilaspur etc (Max. 200 Words).
• Suggestions on the issue discussed in the essay (Max. 250 Words).
• What is your idea to implement your suggestion with the minimum modification done in the existing infrastructure (Max. 150 words - optional).

Prizes for this category are as follows:

1. Rs.25000
2. Rs.15000
3. Rs.10000

• Entries may be submitted online at www.mygov.in latest by 25th October, 2015.
• Participants can also submit their entries in hard copy personally in the Bilaspur Nagar Nigam office (2nd floor-data centre).

Evaluation

The submission will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Practical implementation of the suggestions.
• Innovation and creativity.

The ideas given in the winning entries might be used in developing vision and goals for the preliminary stages of Bilaspur Smart City Plan.
