The LMC seeks valuable suggestions of the citizens to formulate the vision for the Smart City Lucknow. A successful vision would promote comprehensive development with a sustainable approach which would also reflect a city’s unique image.
The topic of the essay is "Mera Smart City Lucknow" (Hindi) and My Smart City Lucknow (English).
• Maximum word limit - 1000 words
• All the essays must be submitted in .pdf (PDF) format
• Residents can submit their essay in – English or Hindi.
• All the residents can participate in this open essay competition on https://mygov.in
• The essay should address the below mentioned questions-
1. What is your Vision for Lucknow as a Smart City? (Maximum 15 words)
2. What are the prime area specific problems and what smart/innovative solutions you want to recommend? (150 words)
3. Any global/best practices which can be implemented/replicated in Lucknow? (200 words)
4. What smart/ innovative initiatives do you recommend to implement policies through behavioral changes?
The top 3 essays will be awarded - (For Open Category- 18 and above)
1. 1st Prize - Rs 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rupees only)
2. 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Rupees only)
3. 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees only)
The top 3 essays will be awarded - (For children- 10 - 17 years)
1. 1st Prize - Rs 5,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rupees only)
2. 2nd Prize - Rs 3,000 (Fifteen Thousand Rupees only)
3. 3rd Prize - Rs 2,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees only)
• 50 best entries will be given consolation prize of Rs 500 (Rupees Five Hundred only)
The competition shall be closed on 10th November, 2015.

• All the entries must be submitted online through https://mygov.in. No other medium of submission should be accepted.

• The winner will be chosen on the basis of conciseness, originality of the content and ideas and implementable & bankable action points. The decision of Lucknow Municipal Corporation on selection of first 3 winners and consolation prize shall be treated as final. No copying will be allowed.
