If you believe that poetry can inspire financial wisdom, Here’s your chance to showcase your creativity and spread awareness about financial literacy through verse!
The Financial and Tax Literacy Directorate of ICAI, in collaboration with MyGov , invites citizens from all walks of life to participate in the Financial Poetic Challenge. This unique poetry competition aims to promote awareness and understanding of key financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, investing, retirement planning, insurance, responsible borrowing, fraud prevention, and more, through the creative power of words.
Whether you are an experienced poet or someone who just enjoys expressing thoughts through rhyme, we encourage you to pick up your pen and contribute to the cause of building a financially aware India.
Participants may choose to write on any one of the following themes:
1. The habit of saving
2. Smart investing
3. Budgeting and expense tracking
4. Retirement planning
5. Financial independence
6. Avoiding financial fraud
7. The importance of insurance
8. Digital payments and safety
Evaluation criteria:
1. Relevance to theme
2. Creativity and originality
3. Language and presentation
4. Clarity of message
The competition is open to all citizens, and the entries can be submitted either in English or Hindi through a clear, readable, and downloadable PDF format only. Additionally, entries will be judged based on relevance, originality, language, and clarity of message.
There will be three winners from each language (3 from Hindi and 3 from English). Additionally, three consolation prizes will be awarded for each language.
Gratification :
1st Position: ₹7,000
2nd Position: ₹5,000
3rd Position: ₹3,000
Consolation Prize (6 in total): ₹1,500 each (3 for Hindi and 3 for English participants)
