Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in collaboration with MyGov is hosting a Logo and Tagline Contest for Vikaspedia initiative. A logo and tagline are to be created to signify the importance of the scheme for the development of the area.
Vikaspedia is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) initiative that aims to advance an AI-augmented digital ecosystem to accelerate the availability and accessibility of digital information in Indian languages to empower citizens and catalyze digital transformation.
The initiative fosters collaboration among diverse stakeholders within a dynamic digital ecosystem, leveraging technology, capacities, and knowledge enablers to create and disseminate citizen-centric e-information effectively.

Technical parameters
1) The logo must be submitted in JPG, JPEG or PNG format.
2) The logo must be designed on a digital platform that can be easily replicated on websites, mobile apps, social media posts, printed banners and so on.
3) The winning participant must submit an open and editable logo file.
4) The logo and tagline must be an original work. Any proof of plagiarism, imitation, replication, etc shall lead to disqualification.
5) Participants should submit a brief (not more than 100 words) to explain the rationale and relevance of the designed logo and the provided tagline with the given theme.
6) The logo should be designed in a coloured format.
7) The logo and tagline should be usable on the website, mobile apps, social media platforms, and printable such as stationary, signboards, magazines, standees, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, souvenirs, and other publicity.
8) The logo image should be in high resolution with a minimum of 300 DPI.
9) The logo should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed onscreen at 100%.
10) Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
11) The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.
Evaluation criteria
1. The submitted logo designs and taglines will be assessed, and winner will be decided by a committee consisting of representatives of C-DAC and MeitY.
2. The Final winner will be declared based on the following criteria:
i. Relevance and Alignment to the theme of the programme
ii. Creativity and Innovation of thought
iii. Originality, simplicity, artistic merit, visual impact
iv. The decision of the committee would be final. No clarifications would be issued to any participants about the decision of the committee.
Gratifications:
i. Winner will be rewarded with ₹25,000/-.
ii. 3 runner-up submissions will be rewarded with Rs. 5,000/- each
