On the occasion of first anniversary of “Smart City Mission” on 25 June, 2016, Surat Smart City has launched a competition named “Make Our Surat City Smart” for citizens including students, professionals, architects and engineers etc for incorporating their useful suggestions for retrofitting in smart city project component of “Visual Improvement in Area”.
As per guideline, given by MoUD, total 3 components of “Retrofitting-Area Based Development” are selected for separate contest of visual improvement in area by incorporating useful suggestions from citizens. For this purpose, following components are selected for contest. Audit Survey of existing condition of all these components was completed with assistance from MoUD team visit to city during 17 to 19 June, 2016.
Surat Smart City Development Limited (SSCDL) hereby invites Citizens of Surat to participate in these design competitions to create an exclusive and artistic but at the same time feasible, realistic and useable designs retrofitting in existing conditions that have potential as per the rules and eligibility criteria of the contest.
The top three winners of contest shall be chosen on the basis of creativity, uniqueness, adoptability and innovation of design. The decision of jury panel, Surat Smart City Development Limited for selecting the winners shall be treated as final & binding to all the participants.
Contest is open for citizens of Surat city only.
Last date of submission: 25th July 2016
Location of Park (garden): Located at TP-64 (Dumbhal-Magob), Final Plot No- R-7 behind Landmark Textile Market.
Prizes:
1. 1st prize : Rs. 50,000/-
2. 2nd prize : Rs. 30,000/-
3. 3rd prize : Rs. 20,000/-
