Bhopal Smart City has been envisioned as to be 24/7 activity based, thriving and energetic place where people will live work and play.
Under Smart City project BHOPAL SMART CITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED (BSCDCL) has initiated a competition involving “CITIZENS” in the design of
Area-based development such as Streets, Junctions, and Parks etc.
The participants have to design and give the desirable situation (target). The design will be assessed by the BSCDCL on its do ability and innovation. The participants of the competition can be from any walk of life and may include citizens, students, technical experts, teachers and others.

MAKE YOUR CITY SMART- PHASE 2, DESIGN PARK

Last date of submission has been extended till 31st December, 2016
Prize Money:
First Prize:- Rs.50,000/-
Second Prize:- Rs.20,000/-
Third Prize: - Rs.10,000/-
Note: This task includes two separate contests 1. Design a park infront of model school
2. Design the Jawaharlal Nehru Park (near Jawarharlal Chowk), with separate prizes to be awarded to the respective winners of each contest.

The vision of this project is to provide the City of Bhopal with a verdant traditional Indian Style Park with a twist that is a place people from all over the city will revisit again and again.
The project creates a new type of open space – a cultural meadow. The goal was not to compete with any of the existing open spaces in the city, to provide room for activities Here art, family, music, dance, literature, architectural..
