Well, RURAL TOURISM in our country has a GREAT POTENTIAL, which's not yet tapped fully. If we succeed in doing that, it can be the best source of EMPLOYMENT to our RURAL YOUTH, who need not migrate to cities then for their living. FEW MEASURES TO PROMOTE RURAL TOURISM are given in the enclosed PDF presentation. We also need to study & emulate some of the successful Rural Tourism models of States like Kerala (Back water Spots), Karnataka (Forest Tourism spots),TN (Temple Tourism of villages)etc.

As every MP will choose one village each to develop it. They should also look it from tourist perspective. A gallery should be developed to show local culture , specialties, achievements , History, economy etc. Restaurants should be opened in each of these villages to serve local cuisine. Villagers should be assisted to develop their houses as paying guest houses. Panchayt houses should be developed and digitized.
