As of the region from where i hail concerned, its a nagar panchayat. The history of the place rooted in the Hindu mythology and supported by the traditions and various dance forms makes it a place of attraction. The low lying paddy fields of the region offers good opportunities during monsoon as it turns to a lake during the rainy season giving way for various activities like fishing, boating etc. The vast coconut plantations and near by coastal line add to the riches of the region.

The entire state can divided into zones based on its physio-graphic and climatic features.Under each zone district wise identification for potential spots can be carried out. A multi-pronged categorization based on nature, culture and heritage and economy is best. A district wise assessment of each zone to identify prospective panchayats would enable us to chalk out plans involving local population. Myth and history of every region should be effectively used to create spots of interest.
